How to reach us in case of a claim: The fastest method for reporting a claim is to call your insurance agent. Your agent can provide you with the most personalized service possible, including tips on how to minimize damage or loss. The name and phone number of your agent is listed at the bottom left corner of the Declarations Page of your policy. If the agent is unable to assist you for any reason, you may call 1-866-274-5677. In addition, you may fax information to 866-274-3299.
Actions to take after a claim: After reporting a claim to your agent, take reasonable steps to prevent further damage to your property. We will reimburse you for the cost you incur to protect your home from additional loss. Keep all receipts.
Future Plans: Our claims are handled on a priority basis. Your agent is able to submit claims via the Internet. This allows us to respond even faster to reports of claims. This is just another area ASI hopes to provide the customer with improved service.
Insurance Fraud: Insurance fraud costs policyholders and insurers millions of dollars every year. American Strategic Insurance is committed to fighting insurance fraud. We will thoroughly investigate all suspected fraudulent insurance activity, pursuant to Florida Statutes 626.9891.
In the state of Florida, “Any person who knowingly and with intent to injure, defraud, or deceive any insurance company, files a statement of claim on any false, incomplete or misleading information, is guilty of a crime and may be subject to fines and imprisonment.”
